Circuit breaker analyser selector

Describe the circuit breaker you are going to test and the tests you need to carry out. The tool works out the channels and the performance your specification demands and proposes the analyser that covers it, starting with the most economical option.

Tick only what your test specification calls for: every extra feature moves the unit up. The options that grey out are not offered by any unit alongside what you have already ticked, and they say what blocks them.

How it selects: in a circuit breaker analyser the deciding quantity is not a voltage, it is the number of timing channels: 3 × the interrupter units per phase. From there come the features each test demands — coil control outputs (2 with a gang-operated mechanism, 6 with an independent pole operated one), transducer channels, micro-ohmmeter, both-sides-grounded measurement — and among the units that cover everything the lowest-cost one is offered first, with its basic accessories included.
Please note: this is an indicative preselection tool. It does not replace a review of the test specification, of the applicable standard (IEC 62271-100, IEEE C37.09) or of confirmation of availability. Consult an AMPERIS engineer before closing a purchase.
